two weeks ago i got a call from a guy i use to know whos also into radios, he is at a local flea and found me this nice condition big crown radio with strapbars instead of a handle with manual for 45 euro and asks me if i would like it, no question
he got the 45euros and a gave him a colored reel cassette as a gift
without further blabla here it is

looks to me --that a real handle --instead of the strap could be installed on the 850 --
some hardware shops sell ' swivel ' clip-ons --
then the wide bar will need to be custom made

Great score on a great box, it's good to have extra eyes looking out for you.
That is one clean looking 850, so many of these old boxes were well used so finding one this nice isn't easy.
