Got a Akai AJ-R205 today for $8.

It has:
-auto reverse cassette deck
-3 band graphic equalizer (8 kHz/1 kHz/125 Hz)
-FM/MW/SW radio
-different modes:
Stereo
Wide (this produces a nice, wide sound effect).
Mono

The Akai sounds quite good.

By the looks of the speakers, my Akai has a tweeter and speaker on each side.

i saw a akai today that looked a lot like that one but.
the one i saw today had two extra speakers on each end that came off.
i didnt snag it but it was pretty cool.

I opened up the AJ-R205 today and noticed the speakers and tweeters can be easily replaced-they are not using soldered cables, but pluggable connectors.

Will post some internal photos of it later/
