Got this a week ago, very nice condition just a few minor scuffs and marks.

Got it for a good price I thought, until I took the back off notice anything missing?

Yeah, the capstan motor and it's mounting plate :annoyed:

Anyway decided to get it working, so made a mounting plate for the motor, tried several different motors and pulley combos sorted out the MD-1 and I succeeded amazing it's now fully working, but 3 days of pain.what a great sounding box.

It's a great sounding machine, though I'm hearing some distortion in the low-end when playing bass-heavy tracks. Cosmetically it's amazing. This is just a superbly designed machine, with the VU meters on the silver/white background.

That is indeed a very rare, vintage Cisco 7962 on my desk. The sound quality is excellent, although it doesn't play cassettes. And no radio.
