Other than Hip-Hop, I never was really big on song lyrics from other genres in American music. I'm a voice (not very technical tho) and music/production guy, so not understanding what's being said doesn't faze me too much. Musically, Japanese R&B or pop gives me the same feeling I get when I listen to music by Heatwave, Teena Marie or whoever.

very soothing relaxing music ,you almost have to imagine what the lyrics are but thats part of the charm , i thought it was great .

It's really no different from the great soft rock and jazz rock classics of the 70's... If radio was more open to international flavor,
you would've heard this mixed in with the likes of Little River Band, Ambrosia, Steely Dan, etc. ...
