? about the Panasonic RX-DT690

So Skippy and I just did a trade and I will be getting his RX-DT690. I noticed on his there is no balance control but on others I have seen online they have the balance control. Was wondering if anyone knows when Panasonic made this change?

Was it early models that had/didn't have it? or later models?

Hmmm, weird! Never noticed that some 690s had a balance slider and some didn’t. I must admit, the only time I use the balance slider on my 680 is when it’s been accidentally moved from the centre position.

It’s a pity Panasonic didn’t give either the 680 or the 690 a line in.

FYI. The 680 has MUCH deeper bass than the 690. The 690 barely plays anything below 100 hz.
