A whole lot of tapes!

Went to get my mail and got this somewhat big box. Inside was a ton of new awesome tapes from restocat. (Phil) for FREE!!! Thanks bro I surely appreciate it

Thanks Bill for sharing. Yes fatdog, that AR-X is cool, it almost didnt make it into that box. It kept sliding back out into my hand.
But sometimes we need to step back and realize that a hobby is just that, a hobby, and putting a value on everything can sometimes take the fun out of it. Sometimes just sharing a pile of tapes for the heck of it is the way to go.

I think blu_fuz realizes this as well, as he sent me a free blue M80 carry strap a while back!

Anyway, Badboybill works on a lot of boomboxes , so he deserves some nice tapes to test them out with. or to trade.

It is a mess, lol. I gave him a few choices so he wouldn't have to run metal tapes as tester tapes on an unknown box.

Bill, I used a larger box because I learned that cramming tapes in without bubblewrap results in a huge mess!
I.e., a while back I opened a package of music cassette tapes to find almost every plastic case broken or shattered.

Phil thanks so much I do love them as I have no good tapes. Even my reel to reel tapes are mostly generic but look so cool Now I just need to figure out which box to use to record on a couple of them. Since I sold the best recording unit I had (JVC PC55)
