A unique addition

[Boom Shaka Laka]

Thanks to eBay seller Robert Mostowski, I was able to add this unique Denon TRC-121 (a real oldie) mono to my collection yesterday. Looks are pristine, and it works perfectly. And it almost satisfies my yearning for a Nippon Columbia boombox.

"Why 'almost'?" you ask. Well... real satisfaction will come when/if I find a Japanese issue box with the actual "Columbia" name on it. But, in the meantime, this Denon does just fine! (I mean, how many Denon boomboxes have you seen lately?)

Thanks for that shot of the old Denon logo. It's like you were reading my mind or something.

The only other Denon boombox I remember seeing was a silver 3-piecer. I believe someone at S2G had it. Cool find, Bam scooter lulu.
