A Strange Behomoth- JVC PC-XT3

Hi all-Just before Christmas I was in Goodwill & say a big old dirty beast of a thing,it was a JVC PC-XT3!
It was only 5.99 and I figured it would be my Christmas present to myself.

I cleaned the heck out of it and all worked except the second deck.
It has twin cd trays! It will switch from the left cd player the right one with a switch of a button!
It sound alright-nothing to brag home about but does sound quite nice on CD.
Has seperate bass & treble and has Super Bass Horn speaker type.

Has perfect antenna & draws 32 watts,high speed dubbing and a link button which I don't know what it does!
After working on her today I got both tapes working well except FF doesn't work on both deck,rewind and play work on both.The second deck was really crusty!

It's not the prettiest but for the price I couldn't pass it up.
I WILL take photos this weekend.It's the only boombox I have the has multiple CDplayability!

My PC-X105 will kick it's butt but that boomer is incredibly strong and super loud.
It's something to work on and I'm sure I'll get the FF working.
A nice project!

Congrats on the PC-XT3, they are unique and I think even kind of rare.

Picked up a PC-XT5 from Goodwill last summer, it's pretty kick but cool and very strong in the Bass department.
There is also a PC-XT7, not sure about the details but I tried to buy one on eBay months ago. The seller wanted to much so I let it go but I'd still like to find one local.
