Last week my girlfriend's brother gave me a Sharp VZ 3000 (home stereo system with vertical turntable). The pub he works in was throwing it out, THANKS HANK!! Yet to get it working but will replace the belts soon.
Later in the week I dropped in on one of my regular thrift shops in search for vinyl lp's. The manager let me have poke around out the back store room. They had a few crates of Lp's out there but it was the usual classical and easy listening. I was just about to leave in dissapointment when I spotted a Vela DK-3000 Disco Lite Mono in the corner.
!!! It had just come in that day. I took it home for a bargain price! All the LEDs light up and the tape deck works perfectly. Had it blasting at work the next day and raised a lot of smiles. An awesome start to the weekend. Will post photos soon.
