Hey Guys,

I was wondering how many of you had a radio with this feature....

The Lasonic 975 and 935 have AUTO REVERSING on Cassette Deck B. Last night had some friends over and threw in some 100 minute mix tapes I recently made and I put them in deck B of the 975. It really was nice, Almost 2 hours of seamless music on cassette without having to touch the stereo!

I only have 3 radios with dual decks, these two plus the 777z. The 777z will play one deck then the next, but then you need to flip the tapes.

So, how many of you have a radio with AUTO REVERSING?

Pictures and Thoughts?

You know, this is a real good question because I had to check all my radios to find out.

My Lasonic TRC-931 has auto reverse on deck A only.

My Panasonic CS 780 has auto reverse.

My Panasonic DT-680 has dual deck auto reverse with a continuous play mode that will loop both sides of both cassettes.

My Sony FH 7 and 207 have auto reverse.

...and last but not least my Kabooms have auto reverse.... :-D

My huge Panasonic RX-C20, for sound quality this little box woops a lot of bigger boxes.
The tape deck works okay but needs servicing to get back to it's glory. Auto reverse mechanisms have their draw backs when it comes to alignment and the more complicated mechanisms but I like having a few boxes with it, makes them seem higher end. :-D

RX-c300 is the only one i have (like skippy's one), but then it's only 1 tape deck. A dual tape deck with both sides auto-reverse and auto play from deck A to deck B would be awesome!

Hey Guys, great collection of Auto Reversing decks. Very interesting that some of these radio's had DUAL auto reversing decks. That really tells you those were some top end radio's!

I can really see the value in it. If you had two mix tapes, 120 minutes long with both decks auto reversing, that is 4 HOURS of continuous music!
:dj-party:

Talk about the perfect Party Radio!

You'd only have to carry 4 tapes with you to party all night long..... :beer2: :drunk: :newyear:

I think I'm going to have to look for some dual deck, dual auto reversing radios.

I think Auto reverse came about in the late eighties early nineties ???
That would rule out any of my collection as they are all early eighties models.
No auto reverse on any of mine :'-(

Great post's guys....Like Hemi, most of my stuff it early 80's. That's probably why I think this is so new to me! Some of the radio's posted above have the double deck double reversing heads. That is just bitchen! That's a real usable feature.

I guess my next goal is to make some more mix tapes, so when I go out, it's auto reversing all the way!  :-D

I found some more CrO2 tapes today at the "Name Your Own Price Store". Gave them $2.00 for 6 of them. They all are used, but super clean inside and out....So now I can use my Auto Reversing with the CrO2 setting!

Now that's how we ROLL :sin:
