Always loved the look of these but they don't come up very often in the uk. Bagged one at last and given it a service and a bath :-)

Fully working and sounds great. Those LEDs really bounce and of course it's a pretty large beast. Very pleased with it :-)

Seems it's more commonly badged Rising...the speakers have Rising stamped on them

Classic boombox through and through! Just as a quick guide, how does that one compare to - for example - a Sharp 9191?

Much bigger and louder! I'll take a side by side pic tonight if I remember :-)

I love the looks of this radio. Great to know it's a real performer. TOTALLY on my "Must Have" list!

Is it me, or is there something HOT about a sweet blaster all soaped up!

Excellent clean up!

Yeh I always fancied a 20 20 but I thought I'd never get one here in the uk...and yep I always like to see a box getting scrubbed up and clean :-)

Great clean up job Si, and great box  I once bagged a nice rising src2015 20/20 version of this. The only thing wrong was one of the feet was broken off just like yours  seems to be a common thing on these boxes. I remember mine sounded very nice, plenty of bass and good crisp highs. I remember taking it to the beach one hot summers day with my kids and my lad who was only 3 at the time tipped a bucket of sand allover it. It lost power and I binned it on the promenade, this was before I joined st2g and had no idea it was fixable. Looking back I know it was a moment of madness which I truly regret

Yeah if only Chris, think I payed £40 for it, apart from the foot it was minty and fully working. Doubt I'll ever come across another, even the Rising versions are rare over here
