A friend of mine just picked this up for me. It's been in a guy's attic for years.
Kasuga KC-2200 I think.
Sorry about blurred picture (her pic not mine) I'll post some more when I get the box.
I think it's DOA....

Yes it was the Gumtree one. My friend got there and it didn't power up so she got it cheaper for me.
Not even seen it in the flesh yet myself but hope it's something simple to deal with.

I have a Kasuga I still need to fix up. It's got some issues and bolts missing too.

That's cool. I'm keen to get it working. It looks like it sounds good and although it's not a a world beater it might be a fun outdoor box.

Yeah I'd say that's rare in the UK, only ever seen 1 other for sale, and it went for like 250 or something on the bay ! It was working and in great shape tho. Hope u get it working ! and find some bolts ;-) .

Peace

First thing to check when not powering up for dirty corroded power switch.. Also check micro switch for corrosion where cord plugs into unit

Back to life after 15 odd years! Yes Badboybill it was a bad power switch in the end.
Very strong sounding boomer. Dare I say it sounds better then similar sized GF-9000 and MX-920.
Blu Fuz, the JVC strap goes into the slots but doesn't lock in? Any ideas?
Just need a couple of twin aerials and to figure out why the cassette door won't close fully. If it doesn't close it tends to chew tapes.
Here's some pics and thanks for the interest people.
