A rare JVC walkman mini........

I won this JVC RC-S55JW walkman boombox on Ebay recently.
I won it for 99 cents + shipping and it was missing the walkman,no biggie.
I got it in the mail today and I was totally blown away.
The seller found the detachable walkman that was missing in the auction and sent it to me with the boombox.
I was also amazed at how nice the condition of the boombox was in. It just took a light cleanup with some orange glow.
It looks like new now.
I worked on the walkman and now it all works and sounds great.
It even has the original dual antennas.........
Anyone else have one besides Spud and Me?

Wow Skippy that's too cool, love the JVC and you've got to love the seller for not being upset about selling it so cheap. I wouldn't expect to many sellers on eBay to send you that cassette player after selling the main unit for only 99 cents, I can picture a lot of people simply tossing it in the trash.

i am still mini-thrilled with the mini panny rxf80s that you sold me about
a year ago -- remember ?

compared to your jvc --
its kinda dark and grey and not inspiring to look at-
but it sure sounds very terrific :yes:
with its separate bass & treble --

does your jvc sound as good ??

Yup,I remember it Ira.
The Jvc sounds good,but not near as good as the Panny........
