A Question - Would the aerials from a GF 777 fit my GF 9494?

as the title basically

I recently got a GF 9494 - but it came with aftermarket aerials that are too big for the unit (with bright red plastic ends!)

I have the chance to buy a beat up GF 777 - or at the very least the two intact aerials.


Are these the same parts?

I looked at my GF9191 - and they seem the right length
so did Sharp use generic aerials across the range~?

Just going by memory but if I recall correctly, the GF-777 might use shorter antennas but then again, I don't have one handy to measure for you. Maybe another member can measure the antennas for you.

BTW, if you do pick up the 777, and decide to part it out, please consider selling me the motor. I could use one.

what should I offer for the pair of antenna?

if i decide the money they want for the whole box is too much

That depends on how badly you want the antennas. I have seen them sell (good ones) for as much as $59/pair. But start low and see how it goes.

i usually seeantennas ( standard and not the stock ones !!!!! )

selling for around 5 euros.

The antennas are 210mm long
