Some nice finds there, especially the Sanyo 9994 - a box that really looks like it means business and gorgeous classic looks.

I'm led to believe they sound none too shabby either :-D

A 1M in the wild? You have got to be kidding me...looks to me as if you have found a way to skip s-pay entirely. :ebay:

I'm really digging that Akai, and you say you have THREE of them? Did you find all of them in the wild?

That Pioneer is a real eye-catcher. I'm amazed. Black, even.

And this is just since you've been back? When it comes to finding them in the wild, you truely are the Big Game Hunter of Boomboxery! :hooray:

Geezum crow!!! They're all wonderful!

But, that yellow mini, wow!! That's something very special!

I didn't even know those Studio 1M's came out to .au, learn something new every day about collecting boomboxes, that's for sure.

Love your work, AZA, and great to have you back in action.

Let me know if one of your Akai's mentions anything to you about wanting to move to Victoria too!

Rock On.

Thanks for the above comments guys, its always great to share here :-)

Kenpat, 2 of the Akai's i found in the wild and the other was found for me
by someone else, but also in the wild
I do think i am lucky with some of my finds sometimes although i
too have had to resort to using Epay.

Glue, im sure we could work a deal on an Akai if you are interested ;-)

That Telefuken is sweet, love vu's, is the top one signal strength?

Yes thats right, the top one is for signal strenght and battery.

Nothing like watching a nice set of VU's 'dancing' on a boomber !
