this shiat sounds phenominal , i just swapped out components on my evil vz 2000 custom box , i added a dual voice coil 12 inch free air sub woofer and changed over to an alpine head unit , i can tell you this blows away any box i ever heard ,the bass is in describable i can only say loud ,deep and strong with plenty of vocals and mid range coming from the sub , this will kick the m9's ass all over the place in size and sound ,just got a little more to do and she will be ready to paint .i been working on this thing for about three years .

This thing is phenomenal Did you made the main unit (alpine) removable? Can u swap it ? Some old pioneer will be better choice (share the same mechanic part like CDJ players and kicking dynamic).

the head unit comes out very easily , it's so simple to swap out any part no problem i still have to make a top panel for it and put the battery box together and install the power supply , the box sounds better than i could have hoped for and its portable ,and loud loud loud ,the sound quality is excellent ,i am going to remove the two horns on the top panel because they really aren't needed .

i was thinking of painting it some kind of metal flake black and putting some tron like 80's graphics on it ,and a mirrored top panel with custom made conion style l.e.d's ,that is going to look bad ass now that i got the sound i want it's time to get mid evil with is mutha .

Hey, question, do you haev space inside to be able to place those horn tweeters from the inside? It would look so much nicer if they were flush with the top of the box instead of sticking out... (also get some nice flat head screws and you're good to go!!!!

the sub grille is a baffle board and the sub is mounted to the back of it and the fabric is stapled on from the back and does not come off , i'm not too sure about the looks of it yet but i'm not done yet ,i want to make the sub part look as close to the original record deck appearance as possible .

thank you , i am going to remove those horn tweeters on the top and make one smooth panel to cover the area where the head unit is mounted ,it sounds so nice those tweeters are not needed .

a 400 watt atx computer power supply for the mains with an 18 volt battery recepticle mounted inside the box with a door on the back case to access the battery. i already have a set of custom made l.e.d's made by member kittmaster ,it's the only set ever made .
