931 sound comparo ?

cant find thread

asking -- is there any sound quality difference from the first series SQUARE 931 -
and the re-make 931 with the rounded corners ?

I have all 3 versions and I think the 1st 2 square versions are similar even the pc boards inside. As for the rounded 3rd version it's not as peppy in the sound department

I have heard the i931 in a store and there are loud, but lack the strong bass of the TRC931.

I think someone dissected and compared the innards and determined that the newer one was different in the internal baffle department, even though the speakers seemed the same.

I can definetly say that the I931 lacks the most bass and sound as compared to its counter brothers...But even the 3rd edition TRC931 rounded corner has better sound and bass, but Like norm said alot of it is due to the enclosure of the the box
