$860 for an M70 and $1000+ for a Disco Lite, ebay is on fire

Not sure if this price is inflated for the reasons others have brought up regarding this seller, but what is the record for an M70? I mean, its a great box, but I'd think for that price it'd come with a Blu Fuz strap, the original box, orig service manual and a second M70. And just looking at that first photo, doesn't it look like there's a dent and/or discoloration right on the logo plate/badge? On top of that, it looks like there's some discoloration on the back, a scratches on a speaker grills and a scratch on the front metal to the right of the power light. Here I thought I spent a lot on one that was as good as this one and I didn't spend half this price.

And what is it about the Disco Lite that make them so crazy expensive? Madonna? Uniqueness of lights/speakers? They look to have a lot of very small plastic controls and all, yet they they seem to get 3 times of what looks similar in a Sigmatech ATP520

The price for the Disco Lite is close to what they normally bring. I've never understood why the price goes so high on them.

I woke up early to bid on that disco...
I wanted it, and was bidding fiercly, but once it went over $850, I was out and just watched it inch closer then over the $1000 mark within the last minute. It's ok, I'm gona try and get that Cougar disco on ebay right now

Lots of LED's not working on that Vela, and by all accounts it's a nightmare to replace them.

I have come to love the Disco, as it has the same colourful style and super flash I have adopted as my own, that's why I tried hard to get this one. I wish they were cheaper, especially since the rumor is they are worse than the 777's they are modelled after, but what can you do? Madonna did make them boss thanks to her video.
I'll get one though.

It's neat you watched it live apm_fan, too rich for your blood though? I can hardly think of spending $1k plus on a boombox personally. $850 is around max, but over a grand? Maybe for a brand new one, but not one needing work, etc.

The disco lite's aren't even 1/10th the quality of a 777...as a matter of fact the discolite is just about the cheapest quality big box you can get IMO. Your C-126 in your avatar is high end quality compared to the disco lite's ...but the light show that the disco lite puts on is just too cool so i guess that's what you're paying for

I've seen that gf990 auction listed before. It's one of those chinese bin auctions that will sit on ebay until someone wants to pick it up. We may not think it's the best box for that kindof money, but maybe eventually someone will...

Not for me then, I'm more into quality, the more high end the better. Although, those disco lights sure look great at christmas time (i.e. youtube video I saw).
