767 deck and speaker questions

How do you change a cone on a speaker? Does the speaker actually still work with no cone on it?
Also does the tape deck have a reset button (not the counter, but if the deck is actually stuck in play).

The tape deck stops when you press "stop". It has no special reset button I know of. maybe you can try hitting FF or REW while keeping the "cut" button pressed. That is the only way to make my 767 play xD.

I think you are talking about the 767 on ebay.co.uk, right? Dude, hands off. This is not a 175 pounds unit. .

Reconinf a speaker is possible I think but it will either be expensive or a heck of a job.
It is also missing the dustcap on the super woofer....all no good.

I thought i read somewhere about when a C100 is running on batterys and the batterys go flat the deck gets stuck, take the back of and theres a reset button. I thought maybe 767 had something similar. Or maybe not

My 767 is missing it´s dustcaps from the woofers too, but it has no problems with the sound.

If the deck is stuck in play then most likely culprit is bad belts. The auto decks need to finish it's cycle before it completely stops. You have to take box apart to manually help deck stop. This goes same for the Conion you speak of also.
