I have an idea I would like to try and could use some help. I want to save up some tribute pictures from 9/11 and get them reduced in size and perhaps visit a auto detail store to have a vinyl printed out, so that I can affix it to a spare 767 back (currently working on obtaining) My idea is to have it painted in 2 colors. Half chrome red and half chrome blue. (see pics) Here are a few idea I have found so far. Please add some pics you feel are cool and will help my idea along. 9/11 was a huge scare for the usa. The people who helped to save others and have died trying is what's getting me thinking of a tribute. New York and boomboxes go hand in hand. I hope to make this happen and I can swap the back from time to time to show my tribute. Hopefully I will have a wall shelf one day to show it off as well.
The 767 back
The idea is to paint all around the edge and maybe 3 inches or so around the flat of the back. Then have a vinyl cut out laid across the rest of the unpainted fins. Air flow is not a issue, because it would be used on a limited basis.
The paint thought

Here are the photos I have come up with so far. I'll edit them and reduce to 3x3 or smaller, not quite sure yet. Still in the works. I will go through and pick what I think may work for this project. But I can use some more ideas. I have a request out on facebook as well. Thanks for checking out the post
