I always get a bit excited when I see a thread from Mono or Glue in the collections section!!!!!!

What an amazing selection of boxes. 2 of which are my most wanted!!!!!!

The sound kinda reminds me of the Sony Zilba'p CFS-V8 because the highs are slightly muted - which is a good thing
'cause they won't get over crispy and distort when the treble is maxed out... Bass is good up to half volume and is a
close match to the Zilba'p, Sharp GF-508SB, Victor RC-838, etc., but no match for the Toshiba RT-9990, S90 or
Lasonic TRC-920 - just not deep enough... Not really a loud box - could probably keep up with the 838 tho...
All that said, the overall sound is VERY comparable to the Sony Zilba'p CFS-V8 and Victor RC-838.

that i bet 99 % of our members have never even heard of it-
or seen a photo !!

i only know of it --from one old s2g member from ireland
--forget his name --fatdog would know :-)
