Looks very nice. Only good for down to 50hz?

Gonna use them as mid-bass or subs on a 767? Either way I bet they sound primo on that radio.

They look a bit like the drivers from a RX-DT680 only bigger.
88db sensitivity isn't anything special though.
You're right about the sensitivity... the volume will nee serious cranking to get volume out. :-)

What sensitivity would be ideal?
My DIY box has 90db sensitivity speakers. My next build will have 95db sensitivity speakers.

The cheaper style speakers often seem to have a lower 85-88 db sensitivity. 1db makes a big difference to the perceived 'loudness' of a speaker.

Anyway, check out these speakers when you get them - they may sound great.
And who knows what sensitivity the original speakers had!

The higher the db the more sensitive the speaker, requiring less power to move them. Higher prices mean better building materials which equal more volume.

Still for the price ;-)

Came in yesterday. Jammin the 767 on the amp stand.

Finally got my work table area put together. Few pending projects. Look forward to cleaning this one up.
