I'm going to use this and see if it really works. I have some cracks and broken pieces that's in need of attention. Have any of you ever used this stuff. According to the internet they have it at Bed Bath & Beyond for $10.

Bed Bath & Beyond were sold out out of the 5 Second Fix. So I got the Lazer Bond 3 second Rapid Repair. It does the same thing as the 5 second Fix.

I repaired this:

The crack can still be seen but its holding strongly.

YES!! I have used it extensively on my boombox restos. It works great about 99% of the time. I have used it to repair broken screw posts and also pieces of the cabinet that need to go back together. For most plastics its the bomb yo!!!I find its best to cure it in subdued light. So as not to "dilute" the curing effect of the blue light on the pen itself. I score mine at my local Ace Hardware. Can be found at your local As seen on TV store. If your town has one of those. Otherwise Ace is the place.

I have always been skeptical of anything that's "As Seen on TV".

Maybe that different brand was a blessing in disguise Will. All the reviews on the other brand were horrible.

Crazy cat ladies review was fine, mostly. It works great on plastics and I hear also ceramics. It does not work on metals or fabrics. You pull the cap off,do not unscrew it, or the applicator tip comes off and you got yourself a big mess. Its good to apply it in full light and then subdue your light when curing it. I usually cure it anywhere from 30 to 90 seconds just to be sure. The instructions say that it fully cures after 24 hours. For most cases though the 30 to 90 second curing time is sufficient. So for our purposes here on this site, this product works great. Your mileage may vary. If you happen to get a leaky one like the guy in the video don't be a dummy like he was. Get your receipt and the packaging and take it back to where you got it and exchange it for a good one. Its worked great for me about 99% of the times I've used it. Will, I'm sorry about hijacking your thread, just felt I had to throw in my two cents worth.
