So everyone knows I picked up a Dynasty Discolite on trade about a month ago and I'm stoked to say I'm getting it back from the technician tomorrow with both tape decks fully working again So having a fully working minty Discolite is going to be so awesome. Yeah I have a couple options here but the one tech won't touch it without a scheme. The place I took it to is in Chi Town about 60 miles and he's very expensive so I only use him as last resort and on Boomboxes I can't repair myself and ones I know are worth the extra money I'm putting out...He is also the guy that has the boomers for sale. As a matter of fact I just got a Lasonic TRC920 in clean shape fully working for Rick ( Glucifer) and he just got it and is stoked about adding it to his arsenal

Thats great Bill, theres nothing kids like more than a Discolite. Its the one box my daughter always mentions, one day i will get one for her.
Im i right in saying theres 2 or 3 akas and some are more desirable than others, but to the eye of a 9 year old they look more or less the same

Thanks for all the positive feedback so I got my discolite back and it's simply amazing. Decks are fully working and so is everything else. She is such a beauty. I will post pics and new video tomorrow from the mini meet pics. I am so amazed by this unit. Even the sound is pretty darn good

The speakers were somewhat stained with yellowing so yesterday I decided to paint them with fresh white paint to make them pop
