For the last 3 days I have done nothing but eat, drink and blast my Lasonic TRC-975. It was a heck of a Memorial Day Weekend! All this last year my 975 has been at the bottom of my "Big 3" display and not easily accessed. I purposely pulled it out to give it some face time.
Had friends over for a BBQ, had to deliver some tunes!
I found this Sony turn table at the Good Will and had to hook that up! Vinyl sounds so good through these vintage beasts!
Was using member Miles' battery spring tool in the battery bay!
All in all, it was a great weekend. I haven't isolated the 975 from the rest of my radios in a long time....It behaves different than other radio's with that LBS system and when you figure out, where and when to use the LBS, you can really figure out how to deliver this radio's big power!
I think I'll keep some batteries in her for a while....
