3 additions to my ADDICTION

What's up everybody, I'm finally getting around to sharing some of my recent purchases since my 1 year collection anniversary video.

1st is the famous LASONIC TRC-920. Tape deck is fully functional. Some very bad packing resulted in some breakage upon arrival. The eBay seller did refund some $$$ though. Member Lasonic TRC-920 (Chris) helped me out with one knob that was missing, and all that I need now is a battery cover and the 2 chrome ends for the handle that I got from blu-fuz (Joe) :-) Thanks a million fellas. Here's a few shots after clean up.

Next is an Emerson XLC55 TV/Radio. Scored this one from eBay VERY cheap so i got a great deal on my 1st TV boombox, cassette deck works, and it's in great shape. Just needs the good ol SLO scrub down and detailing and it'll be ready to roll.

Last but definitely not least is this big black beast, the HELIX HX-4700. Member mac daddy freshness (Adrian) had text me out of the blue one day and asked me if I would be interested in buying it, so of course, I WAS! We agreed on a price and a day to make the deal and met up at a halfway point for the both of us, and the rest is history. Three nice additions. Not much more to add about the 920, its just a stunningly beautiful box. The Emerson looks in good condition and its always a bonus to have TV box in your collection. The Helix I think ive seen in some of the Cali pics, absolute monster :thumbsup:

That LASONIC TRC-920 is amazing... could even be my new favorite box. I don't get to see beasts like that much in Australia!

that 920 is one of only several i have seen with the fine mesh grills . i prefer the beefier black ones but they both look nice .

Thanks for all the comments fellas :-) I'm pretty happy with all of them, but the chrome on the 920's is just sexy.

No upgrades for the TV Joe Lol, just keepin the o.g. dinky screen. ;-)

Thanks Floyd, I actually never noticed the difference in grills. I'm gonna have to do a comparison with my friends 920. I do like the 920's with the white woofers though.

nice scores.you can always glue the old battery cover together for now till a new one is sourced,the lasonic is cool as hell :cool:

The battery cover is actually missing, the broken pieces you see in the photo are from the battery housing, the packing SUCKED! :thumbsdown: Im gonna mend it back together and keep hunting for the actual cover, maybe ill get lucky someday ;-)

Thanks caution! :thumbsup: Oh thats just a small table with a Boomboxery sticker on it. My SANYO turntable is sitting on top of it. Don't know why it looks like its shakin? :hmmm: Maybe its from the earth shattering BOOM :lol:
