$3.00 jvc pc 37 flea find

so i'm up my parents house mowing the grass for them ,they have several acres and i have a shop/garage there that i work out of .

anyway i'm mowing like crazy on the riding mower and my mom comes walking out in the yard as i'm whizzing by and she's carrying a boombox so i pull over

turns out she went to a local church sale and spotted the jvc and ended up paying $3.00 for it .

nice sounding radio i must say .

i re belted it and cleaned her up and lubed the controls now she is 100 %.

Looks like a quality tape deck too - I came on to this forum expecting Sony would be the best like they were with TVs in the era, but all these JVC boom boxes I am looking at sure look well made!

out of my entire collection at least half are jvc 4 or 3 piecers like the pc series ,pcw series ,pcx series those hyper bass units sound great .


i have jvc's i don't even see anymore because i have too many to spend time and space taking pictures of them unless they happen to be on rotation . even then there's no way i'm unpacking all those until i retire some day


i still have to work on my dc 7 but i don't even want to think about that one ,must be a million parts in there .
