I'm just glad i no longer use e-Bay...i'm a local buyer, i hate shipping, i hate of the thought of a boombox getting destroyed through shipping  ...and even better is that today i made some more contacts which is another bonus for me  . I would have continued box hunting but after i found the 3 boxes i had to go home...i had no more $$$'s

I'm surprised my "contacts/runners" didn't find these boxes before me...the C-100 was there apparently for 4 years

Here's a pic of when i saw the TC-999 buried in the back of the store in the top corner

When someone finds 1 C-100 in the wild, they are lucky. When someone finds 100 of them in the wild... that's all skill! Truly impressive! If you lived in SoCal you would have your own reality show called "Boombox Whisperer." I'm not even kidding about that. That's a fact!!!

Doubt it.........because I think you'd have a harder time down here. I honestly don't think the average Canadian knows the value of boomboxes, and that's why it's easy to find good deals up there. Here in the US there are too many people hunting for them, too many people hitting the estate sales, because they know their value. After all, the boombox was originally American culture......Canada just jumped on our coattails. :-P And that's even doubly true for Australia :-P

The Japanese were the first. The US copied them! :-)
