2 New "GHETTO" Blasters (Pics)

After all my years of collecting i thought i had seen it all. Sunday i picked up 2 new 7980's/C-100's that i need for parts...one of them is pretty decent (one on the bottom) missing some things, and the other GHETTO one is the filthiest Boombox i have ever seen. It's so filthy i actually like it and it almost looks like the rare gold C-100 . Anyways...what is even more bothering to me...is that believe it or not...this GHETTO 7980 is probably the loudest/most powerful 1 piece box i have ever heard. It has crazy strong sound and power...how can this be? So here are some quick pics, and sorry...i will not be selling any C-100 parts anytime soon but when (if) i do i will post a thread in the for sale section!

That's what i thought...if you saw this box in person you wouldn't believe it's filth, but i guarantee it can/will blow away any 1 piece box it's ridiculous the sound

Normally i would have done a quick wipe down on the 2 boxes before the pics...the pics were taken today "as is/as found" ...i'm also pretty sure i could polish up the filthy one pretty good...i may just do that and make it one of my custom "sleeper" box's...it can obliviate any box i think sound wise and i'm not sure why

That is a part of it, having lot's of friends is also a HUGE part of it

Yup, i am going to open it up tomorrow in the day and take a look inside...i will take pics also as it must be just as filthy inside...maybe it's even a fire hazard when plugged in but i promise everyone this will easily destroy any M90/5350/777 etc...she ain't pretty but she packs 1 hell of a punch

i think these extra powerful versions of boomboxes result from somebody at the factory actually doing a good job and taking time to go the extra mile , my trc 920 is the same , loudest 920 i ever heard and its so powerful it can blow woofers an demand . awesome scores ,

But do you really think this is possible Floyd? I'll admit i have probably heard more C-100's than anybody else...and still have many C-100's and this beater is THE one . I have others in my collection also that are really really loud and powerful compared to most. It's funny because i have a JVC M70 that is also a KILLER box compared to my other ones...i can honestly say it's AS loud and as good sounding as my M90's...maybe even louder I can't figure it out...i've done multiple comparo's after comparo's i just give up now

Keep that box intact do not gut or change the electronic components as this one box is well built for sure!
