Hey guys! Long time no see
Been living life and hard! Working on becoming a cop/sheriff.
My cousins got me into it!
I found this GE at the goodwill store last year for $2. and it sat in the basement since.
Well, my mom just bought an Ipod so I figured I would save her some $$$ and make her a 'Dock" for her.
It just doesn't charge it. (may change that soon)
I took a $5 cassette adapter and inserted it, (I was going to dremel it out and wire it to the amp, but the GE is a BLOCK of plastic and would melt/get burred and deface very easy. So I desoldered the earphone jack and routed the 3.5 cable through,I tied the cord in a knot so it wouldn't come out or sink back in, , and put a gun barrel bore guide in the hole to blend in with the buttons,
I then fabbed a strip of aluminum and made it wide enough to clip to my mom's belkin case. now it is ready! It's very light, and still has the AM FM features! Not bad for a $7 job!
