Yes! That heady mixture of flux that hasn't lost its distinctive aroma, the solvents in the polystyrene cabinet that haven't quite left the room, the freshly pressed Paxolin of the PCBs. I'll most likely fall asleep with those wonderful images in my mind tonight.devol-toni said:

Plenty on eBay, dirt cheap too! Beosystem10 said:It appears to use a 1/8" input instead but there's no issue here with impedance or sensitivity, so all you need to use its line input is one of these:

The reason they use that socket is that they come with a built in switch to cut the FM sound automatically when you plug the line source in. RCAs can do this too, but the longer centre pins that are needed for that are rare these days and expensive as they were only ever associated with high end portables from the likes of Hacker. 5 pin DIN sockets also have switching of this type but they're larger and Sony have gone for style as well as clever functionality with this little beauty.Me too, more so every time I look at this thread, sitting there in its box with all the stuff that came with it from the factorymancardo said:I like![]()
. Dammit, I'm going to have to find one of these now. Oh well, I didn't want to eat this month anyway!
