may as well post this up. it was my dads from new in the mid 80s. though its had not much use in 20 years. i used to take it on school trips and stuff like that when i was about 13. though it got made fun at as everyone had thier cd walkmans, and mp3 had literally just been invented. the plastic trim had come loose so i remember re sticking it with pritt stick and sello tape :-/ i also had the original headphones, but i binned them probably cos i thought they sounded rubbish :annoyed:

anyway i wanted to listen to some old cassettes on the move again so i dug this back out and gave it a thoughrough cleaning. i think i may transer some more my music to tape, its got a better sound quality than my ipod( with its 3 band EQ) :-D

id rather have 5000 songs in my pocket than a bag of cassettes. but still, at least i can start listening to my old mix tapes on it again :cool:
