i bought this today, a Sony SX414BE tape recorder/Portable TV

its in fantastic condition, even the arials are intact and everything works 100%

obviously the tv no longer recieves any stations though, with the whole digital switchover in all

it was between this and another giant JVC TV boombox, which could be run off a car battery... i couldnt afford that one though

:-) this'll be for sale in the next few days, probably.... once its outlived its use to me

The whole no analog TV kind of sucks though. :thumbsdown:
I was at a GoodWill last week and walked by a guy intently trying to tune in a station on one of the small portable TV's they had for sale. I've learned over the years that GoodWill is full of really weird people who love to talk nonsense if they think your interested so I didn't have the heart to tell him he won't find any stations no matter how long he tunes it or what antenna he hooks it up to.

i guess its ony a matter of time before analogue radio gets shut off too.....
