Very funny!...I remember my brother in law, who's a vet, having one for on-call. I remember him putting on the table in the pub being very proud of the latest gadget...

I actually bought one of these 4 years ago as a gag gift for my boss. He used to have AT&T and was always dropping calls, so I told him that I got a new phone for him.
I'm pretty sure I paid $5 for it at a thrift store. It's still sitting on the credenza next to his desk. He now has Verizon, like the rest of us.

The first time I ever saw one of these I just about choked to death holding in my laughter!
It was a strange idea to have mobile phone capabilities, but the sear size of it was laughable!
I always thought, who would carry something that size around....and like Reli said, 5 years later....flip phone....
Truth be known, I think most of that bulk was battery
