I bought this local.. it doesn't look like it's Ever Seen the Light of day..there's not even a scratch on the legs underneath.. but there was 2 problems..the red on off selector switch wasn't making contact..it took a lot of rigorous movement with loads of switch cleaner to get it to contact..second issue was the mains transformer buzzing quite loud through the case..the transformer had a metal shielding covering the top of it. and that was oscillating near the speaker magnet..so it was virtually transferring the buzzing sound through the cone of the speaker amplifying the buzzing sound..it was quite simple to repair by placing a hard piece of rubber between the metel shielding..that totally eliminated the buzzing sound..it seems like it's spent all of its lfe plugged into the mains with hardly any use. thus making the copper switch contacts turn black..I replaced the main smoothing capacitor and all the tuner board capacitors..and the tweeter caps..sounds lovely..another mint condition one to the collection
