1954 Sears Silvertone Clock Radio!!!

I know it's not a Boombox, but I thought it was real cool since its a tube radio. I haven't really heard a tube radio since early part of 70's

I got this one for free from a friend of Jeannie's. She knew I am a collector and picked it up at a garage sale. Awesome!!!

Had to give it a real good bath and clean up the switches, pots and even the metal type tuner.

Takes a while to warm up but its kinda cool listening to a tubular radio
Even the alarm clock is working plus there's even an input jack to hook up Phono!!!!

sweet i love old radio's there's and old 30's style art deco big ass radio at a house i'm working on , i thought it was freaking awesome and fully restored too. , it's about 4 feet tall and cool as hell.
