I remember getting my first system (Sharp GX-CD130X) for Christmas when I was just a wee lad of 7  - see attached photo of it on the very day I received it. I then fell...

VICTOR DC-5 also know as JVC DC-7 arrived

I'm so happy with that! I have two combines now - one vertical vinyl and one horizontal. Is he amazingly handsome? P.S. Yes, you are right, that is the Big brother of more common distributed JVC DC-33, more brutal and natural, I can say :beer2:

    RC-X610

Hello! I would like to know where I can do a solder to connect a jack input on this device which does a very good job, except than that. It does have a mic input but it's a mix/mic input that results in a very low volume. Apparently it could be done between the fm preamp and the main amp. But...

Any top tips for aerial tips? JVC 9475 Restoration

Just picked up this little JVC 9475 for £10 :-) . It's built like a tank but the aerial tips have gone walkies. Does anyone know how to reattach the missing ends on the aerials? I've extended them by inserting a tight fitting screw but would appreciate any advice you can offer.

Browsing my local craigslist I found a JVC RC-656C and an RC-727LB for sale for $100 each. Both decks are non functional. The 727 is from the 70's if I'm not mistaken...the VU-meter bulb is shot and one the right channel is maxed out like its stuck. Should I go for it?
