    Ready for some back roads

Very cool. I always wanted a 1985 Honda CR500 2 stroke. I heard they are widow makers ;-)

JVC RC-M70JW - Left volume slider always on MAX volume once it's 1/2 way up, right slider works perfect

Does anyone know if the RC-727JW Volume sliders are the same value and size as the M70? I have a 727 parts box here and the sliders are like "butter" smooth, I don't see a service manual anywhere for part numbers.

Always some issue every time I go to use a box

Same Story of my life with the M70's and 838's... lol

Always some issue every time I go to use a box

...Popped a tape in and the right speaker was dead when playing cassettes, radio is fine. Auto stop has also decided to kick the bucket. Get my M70 out to take over. Volume levels go really low when just touching the volume sliders and the volume and drops in and out, touching the bass slider...

That break seems to be in most all photos I've seen. I think it has something to do with the center tap for the loudness control. Here's another photo of the volume from another post about the alps sliders The photo above was from this post here.

    JVC RC-M70 leaf switches

Hi everyone, I am working on a fairly good condition M70 and two leaf switches that are below the cassette buttons (play, etc) are broken. Any tips to rebuild or replace? I see lot of discussion on the power leaf switches but not too much one these ones. I could possibly mount a micro switch on...

    National 7200 meters light

...LED strip segment or LED+Resistor combo matching with the voltage (12V to 15V). I am not sure about RX-7200. Here is my way of fitting LED in an M70. https://www.boomboxery.com/forum/threads/my-jvc-m70-with-rgb-led-dial-light-mod.34029/ It will also give you an idea, how to fix the LED...

    National 7200 meters light

Superduper made those for M70. 7000 has very decent lighting, I can't complain. Since 7200 is not that popular like JVC M70, he might have not attempted making those LED upgrades.

    National 7200 meters light

It looks really good, I noticed both 7000 and 7200 have very poor lighting, a long time ago someone here was making led kits , I think for the m70, where there any made for these Panasonics ?

    bbb777

Wouldn't logic/soft touch tape controls be kind of difficult to do with todays cassette mech? I'm just speculating, but if it can be done, like Teac did with their latest deck, it would add a fair bit of cost on.

...guessing around. I don't know if the Conion would be equally successful because it's not that much internationally known. I too would love the M70 but I think for now they seem to be going after the grails which makes sense. For me, the GF 777 was the perfect box for this project, I knew...

...As far as I remember the 777 also started as their (NWT) project. Now they seem to disappear, whatever has happened at them. Whatever the next project may be, I hope for something that fits my personal taste. M70 would also be fine to me or RC-550 which could be paired to stereo speakers. :D

    JVC RC-M70 MMS issue

Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with the Multi Music Scanner (MMS) circuit on the JVC RC-M70 and wondered if anyone has seen this before. During playback (on any source) there is a constant noise through the speakers, and the MMS green light flickers very rapidly as if it’s constantly trying...

    JVC-RC-M70

Thank you for that. Very good and detailed advice. Wow four idlers. That’s more than I thought were in there. I bet that rubber is wearing away too, but maybe I can show the guy all the measurements and he can order the right belts or I can. Then if he’s willing to put a lot of work and effort...

    JVC-RC-M70

I have a parts M70 that does this. WIth mine, I know it isn't belts because a hum can be heard through the speakers and it's like the drive motor isn't getting the full voltage. Sometimes it will start to turn the flywheel and then come to a stop. The power light (if the power selector is in the...
