After the electronics were restored to working order, I moved on to the aesthetics, including the cartridges. Scuff and chipped paint on the unit itself and moldy stickers had to be touched up!


and the Joysticks were showing a little wear and sun bleaching. Note the last one is a new joystick I bought before fixing the originals, it also shows the original colour

I had my son make a dust cover from his 3D printer.
As a boombox enthusiast, I also exploited my new found my new sticker making came in handy and I decided to craft static clings for my PC-55 and another for my PC-550. I'm quite happy how they turned out. Excuse my son's Warhammer stuff. The radio sits on a shelf he uses so the 550 becomes a backdrop for all of his sh!t.lol
