Connections and plugs from this tapedeck

The powerswitch had some problems with the contact... i found this little switch (not transistor) for the main powersuply. But, as i get the taster, i have broken the plastic connection between both switches :-(

This nipple from a speaker is a way to fix this connection.

so, i cut it and make this little piece a bit shorter...

A soldering iron is not hot enough, to molten it in plastic, a lighter is much hotter.

Molten in that switch and it works... jäääääiiiiiiiii !!!!!!!!!!. I was very happy !!!!

The Tape buttons^^

Cleaning all knobs and buttons, or buttons and knobs :-)

With a little hlep from silver pencils...

... you can fix some scatches :-)

Full machnic toaster

Black evil rubber paste

More

And more

And the next big sucess, all parts are clean and oiled.

I bent this metal to get a full working autostop. And... when the motor is cold, the tapespeed is a bit faster.

And now enjoy the following pctures...........

Thanks for watching and the participation in the guessing game. :-)

I like this box, sounds great.
The bass sounds like a orignal 777... . The Trebble is great, very loud, clear and near a M 70 ``near´´. The m 70 tickles your ears, and the perdisco not :-). A great box with real line in !!
Get it !!!
Have a nice weekend :-)

Please tell us what was the issue with the box and start from there.
How you got it and where you started to work on, this way we all can learn something new about the repair.

FANTASTIC WORK!

Way to get in there and MAKE it happen!

Such a sexy box!

That black belt paste or goo is the hardest thing to get off your hands.
This is probably the worst part about working on these old radio's. Have ruined many shirts! :bang:

This goo (black evil rubber paste sounds better) is easy to get off with water and soap... ``from the fingers and hands´´. Tapedeck cleaning isnt easy... this paste or goo is everywrere, whrere the rubber falls down. the rest was easy to repair... contact 61 for potis or switches and casecleaning.
The autostop dosen't work correct when the tapedoor is open... ive learned a lot from this box.
Thanks to all for the paste/goo cleaning :-)

Nice greets wolffi
