Got both decks to work then I noticed that the top , I believe its the left speaker, aluminum amp gets very hot but the other is fine. Any suggestions? Ideas?

Same thing happened on my pioneer. Don’t run it, you will blow the speaker on that channel and or amp chip too.

I was told a cap in line on that channel might be reason. Over my head and sold it.

I would at least place new thermal grease between the heatsink and the amp chip. The thermal grease loses its potency over time.

You can buy the service manual. Found this thread on a fault with these.
