I want to say I had a great time at this event. Dark side and I parted ways at my car... I had a Helix stashed in a car. However he didn't know I had some brothers try and surround me for a take down... with my crown and Electro at the trunk as I was putting away my other goods. I maybe big but not helpless... Thanks to the tennis bros who came out, I'm all good.

The Venice meet was a complete success. We had several special guests, among them Hip Hop Trooper and Javi from Javi's Boom Tech. Both were absolutely cool dudes and very personable.
This meet was my first opportunity to visit Venice beach. I must say this place is truly alive with so much energy. From the beach, weight area, basketball courts, paddle ball courts, and vendor area it was wall to wall people. It amazes me how positive an impact our boomboxes always have on a crowd. Every person who came to our area took pictures, listened to the music, and asked questions about the boxes. There were large groups of people flowing through all day. A truly positive experience. Can't wait to go back and do it again. Venice is the perfect setting for a boombox meet.
Venice done till next time... now Mark your calendar's for the 2nd international Boombox meet in Las Vegas September 29 and 30th 2017 .. special room rates at the 4 Queens hotel on Fremont St., Las Vegas, NV. Just mention Boombox meet for the special rate. Hope to see you all there. It's going to be a blast.

Fantastic, great pictures. Those events are so much fun. I highly recommend all collectors to reach out to even one other member and hit the streets somewhere, post up and pump some beats.
