Speaker grills paint job

Hi too all been along while since I posted , I bought a few more ghetto blasters since, I would like a friend of mine to do a back to the old school paint job on my much love Philips speaker grills but he has asked what type of paint is the best to be used any advice would be much appreciate.

My favorite is Rustoleum universal satin black.
I recently painted a set of grilles with a satin black that I had on hand but it was flatter than I wanted.
I sanded them and repainted them with the Rustoleum.
The Rustoleum leans more to the glossy side.
