Happy Easter everyone! OK, so after changing out the rewind gears, I noticed that both cassettes play at the same time regardless of where the tape operation selector switch is positioned. It was probably like that before I got it. I have it all apart again and can't seem to figure out what is causing the problem.

I figured out that the play and pause need to be engaged. Once tape 1 ends the pause button on tape 2 will automatically disengage. I guess a owners manual would have helped. I guess I need to be smarter then the box. Next problem is figuring out why the apls system isn't working, only the 1 switch lights up and it doesn't stop on the next track at all.
