RX-DS45 Casette Player not working

I just got an RX-DS45 Radio Recorder cassette player not working. I
t has a good sound CD-Player working and has RCA AUX IN. I've connected a Bluetooth adaptor to AUX IN.
I want to convert to a rechargeable battery operation portable speaker.

I would assume it probably needs new belts which means you'll have to disassemble the unit which would be a great time to do the battery mod.

That's a nice boombox it reminds my of the rx dt 707 I had that I should have kept.

Thanks for the quick response. I will be looking for a belt set then.
(Unfortunately, the cassette player has no mechanical buttons, just membrane switches.

I need a long screwdriver as well. I've ordered this one "Stanley Fat Max Screwdriver Phillips Ph1X250Mm".
I hope this reaches the screws.

Unfortunately, the cassette tape player has no mechanical keys, just membrane buttons.

Belt replacement done. Still not working. I've find the problem. The casette sensor was oxidated doesn't realize the tape in. I've sandpaper it. Now it's working!

in my case the memory batteries leaked. acid ate 6 wires... a lot of trouble .. now great work, installed BT on aux
