Hi all.... I have retrieved my panasonic RX DS45 from long term storage and the tape deck isnt functional now...I know it may be the belts but I saw a post on here somewhere mentioning the problem was actually the tape sensor needing cleaning. where is this located? Id rather try to clean this first befor having to strip the unit to replace the belts (which may or may not actually need replacing!)
Also... at some point in the past the bock sustained a large crack and small hole in the front housing on the right hand side. Is there anywhere I could get a replacement or would I need another unit to cannibalise?
And lastly...can the speaker grilles be removed as there are a number of dents in mine and if they are removeable I could beat them out more easily?
