Panasonic rx-5085 needs service

Hey. First post here. I have an rx-5085 that I hope to repair myself. Cassette works great. Radio does not. The dial indicator knob moves the dial indicator as it should left and right BUT it is locked into music from only ONE station (which happens to be 94.7 fm. So even if the indicator is showing 105, I still hear 94.7. I removed the screws from back panel but am afraid to force it open. It wants to come off but something is preventing it from opening easily. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

on some of these panasonics you have to remove the tuning knob in order to separate the front from the back.

also make sure that the cassette deck door is open when you try to separate the halves.

There can be hidden screws like those ones in the battery compartment.
