I had explained using of Line-In in 70's machines earlier in S2G before.

Basically,
Use line in using [background=#fcfcff]Pause + Play + Record.[/size][/background]
[background=#fcfcff]And stop the motor using the remote pin between the line in sockets.[/background]

Now that makes sense! I hate the motor running when you play from an external source. Good suggestion AE_Stereo! :thumbsup:
