Take the front to an auto body shop - a good auto shop can repair & paint just a small section & blend it in, you would be surprised how easy it is to do if you're a repairer!! Don't try to do it yourself I would say..............it's worth getting it done by a pro :-)
I learnt all the tricks of the trade (20 years a painter in the auto trade) & it can be done pretty easily!!

I thought about that. I just might do that for a flush finish.

Sorry to see that,yes looking at photos very closely is important but yes I agree seller should have mentioned this in his listing.
Yes body shop could make it almost mint again.
