So I wanted to swap out the 11.1v 2700ma Li-on battery from my GPO Brooklyn box to get more time out of it. I measured the stock battery and it is basically really thin yet wide for the enclosure it sits in. Seems like they took an off the shelf pack and put them in these radios. So I found a 11.1v 5600ma pack on Amazon with the same plug. It is a little thicker which would still work if I remove the little plastic ribs in the compartment. This replacement pack is also a little smaller in terms of width and length so as to not being crammed in as the stock one was. The Amazon ad states it comes with an on board chip to prevent over and undercharging. Is there anything I should be aware of? It is $49 which isn't too bad of a deal if I can get more than a week stand-by time and perhaps a full day of use.
